Mr. Tankless Recirculation Loop Design Explained – Mobile App Enabled
Take a look at the image below. When the recirculation pump runs on its scheduled program, the tankless heater is already firing and hot water has reached the furthest bathroom group (usually on the second floor). As a result, other bathrooms, kitchen sinks, and fixtures receive hot water much faster—cutting wait times by roughly 75–80% and addressing a common concern about tankless systems. Because the farthest group has been supplied and the heater is actively processing hot water, warm water is already distributed through the piping network, which generally removes the need for additional pumps at other fixture locations.
Note: Exact savings will vary with system layout and usage patterns.
This design should not be compared to other similar designs you may have had in the past with a circulation loop.
